We are a well established, busy roofing company with an opening for Roofing Apprentice to join our team. Having your own vehicle is necessary to get to job sites which stretch from Qualicum Bay to Nanoose Bay. Majority of work is in Parksville & Qualicum Beach. We specialize in residential re-roofing and application of fibreglass shingles. No torch-on. If it’s not raining…we’re working!

Main duties

• Assist with tear off of old shingles and dispose of into disposal bin.

• Applying underlay.

• Thorough clean-up of work site, including magnetic sweep and blower.

• Assist Roofing Installer as directed.​

 

Employment requirements

• Fall Protection Training. Oceanside Roofing will provide this to candidates if you do not already have.

 

Salary

• $25 - $35/hour (based on experience) with interval raises based on performance and production bonuses.
